Sleepy Hollow

You are cordially invited to an evening of gothic suspense and wit! Join Talbert Voice Studios and Found Space Productions as we bring Washington Irving’s classic tale of rivalry, superstition, and dark roads to the stage in a gripping, one-act production: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow . When ambitious, outsider schoolmaster Ichabod Crane arrives in the isolated hamlet of Tarrytown, he quickly sets his sights on Katrina Van Tassel—the town's most sought-after heiress. But winning her hand puts him directly in the crosshairs of the local alpha, Brom Bones. As jealousies flare at a late-night autumn gathering, local ghost stories sow seeds of dread. On his dark journey home, Ichabod discovers whether the town’s most horrifying legend—the Headless Horseman—is merely a tavern tale, or a lethal reality. Atmospheric, fast-paced, and rich with dark humour, this adult community theatre production explores the thin line between reason and paranoia.
