'SHADOW PLAY' STOP-MOTION ANIMATION WORKSHOP (AGES: 7-12)

Junior Talent Lab / Cinemagic Festival 2026 - 'SHADOW PLAY' STOP-MOTION ANIMATIONCreate a world of make-believe using paper cut-outs or just our hands, a torch and a blank wall. Participants will create their own articulated silhouette characters and frame by frame bring them to life using basic stop-motion techniques. The activity will be followed by a short fairy-tale animation featuring shadows and paper cut-out animation by silhouette artist Lotte Reiniger. This is an excellent introduction to animation for all abilities. Ages: 7-12 / Duration: 90 mins.Start Time: 12.30pm (Exit Time: 2.00pm).Venue: Ulster Museum, Learning ZoneThis is a drop-off workshop. Parent/guardian supervision is not required.
