-GALLO- (Berlin - Hell Yeah Recordings / Buena Onda) Born in Ferrara and based in Berlin since 2012, Italian DJ and producer Gallo (Matteo Gallerani) is a distinctive voice in contemporary Balearic music. His widescreen, piano-led sound moves fluidly through ambient, dub, downtempo, soft acid and house, balancing introspection with open-air dancefloor lift. A longstanding member of Balearic Gabba Sound System, Gallo has released six EPs through Hell Yeah Recordings, alongside work for Slow Motion and Clandestino. His music has appeared on Café del Mar’s 40th Anniversary and Ibiza Chillout Mix II, as well as Colleen “Cosmo” Murphy’s Balearic Breakfast Vol. 2. He was a longtime resident of Berlin’s Buena Onda, co-compiled its 2020 and 2021 Balearic Beats collections, and previously curated monthly Buena Onda Sessions for Music For Dreams Radio. Recent highlights include “For the People” with Chris Coco and his Tropical Hinterhof remix of Michele Mininni’s “Carousel of Tears.” His continuing musical dialogue with Japanese artist Calm includes remixes in both directions, Calm’s mastering of Hidden Inside, and a new beatless dub of “Abysso” released in 2026. フェラーラで生まれ、2012年からベルリンを拠点に活動するイタリア人DJ兼プロデューサーのガロ（本名：マッテオ・ガレラーニ）は、現代のバレアリック・ミュージック界において独特の存在感を放つアーティストです。彼の特徴である、ピアノを主体とした映画のように壮大なサウンドは、アンビエント、ダブ、ダウンテンポ、ソフトアシッド、ハウスの間を流動的に行き来し、内省的な世界観と野外ダンスフロアの高揚感を絶妙なバランスで共存させています。「Balearic Gabba Sound System」の長年のメンバーでもあるガロは、これまでに「Hell Yeah Recordings」から6枚のEPをリリースしているほか、「Slow Motion」や「Clandestino」といったレーベルからも作品を発表しています。彼の楽曲は『Café del Mar 40th Anniversary』や『Ibiza Chillout Mix II』、さらにはコリーン・“コスモ”・マーフィーが手がける『Balearic Breakfast Vol. 2』にも収録されました。また、ベルリンの「Buena Onda」で長年レジデントDJを務め、同レーベルの2020年・2021年のコンピレーションアルバム『Balearic Beats』を共同編集したほか、かつては「Music For Dreams Radio」で毎月の「Buena Onda Sessions」のキュレーターも担当していました。近年の代表作には、クリス・ココとの共作「For the People」や、ミケーレ・ミニンニの「Carousel of Tears」に提供したTropical Hinterhofリミックスなどがあります。日本のアーティスト、Calm（カーム）との音楽的な対話も継続して行っており、お互いの楽曲のリミックスを手がけ合っているほか、ガロのアルバム『Hidden Inside』のマスタリングをCalmが担当。さらに2026年には、楽曲「Abysso」の新たなビートレス・ダブ・バージョンをリリースしています。 Minimum age: 20+
