Kelowna Comedy proudly presents Robert Peng for one special night at Dakoda’s Comedy Lounge! Robert Peng is a Chinese-born, Vancouver-based comedian who transformed his engineering background, immigrant experience and adventures in dating into sharp, original stand-up comedy. Robert was a semifinalist in the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition and a finalist in Vancouver’s Yuk-Off Comedy Competition. He has appeared at Just for Laughs Northwest, hosted for Theo Von at the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival and performed at leading clubs including Yuk Yuk’s, Underground Comedy, Comedy After Dark and Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy. Kelowna audiences may also recognize Robert as a former headliner of the Laugh Lab Comedy Jam. Now he returns to Dakoda’s for a full special presentation! With nearly a decade of experience, Robert delivers smart, gut-punching comedy about dating, job hunting, Chinese culture and the wonderfully strange corners of nerd life. His comedy is personal, unpredictable and just the right amount of inappropriate.
