September 20, 7pm-10pmThe Sketchy Rope Jam is a rope jam where sketching and drawing people in rope is welcome and encouraged!It's a rope jam where fleeting moments in rope might be captured in a sketch.For rope practitioners, it's like any other rope jam--with the added feature that artists can sketch you, and show you their drawings afterwards.For artists and other interested in drawing people in rope, it's an opportunity to sketch and draw people in shibari poses during their rope scenes.Our rope studio features spaces specifically designed for rope/shibari, with suspension hard points including bamboo, single points, and hashira posts.We encourage sharing sketches with the subjects of the sketches. All attendees are expected to communicate and get consent before posting/sharing/tagging any sketches on social media or elsewhere.Ages 18+
