Bands do BK presents: Sharkswimmer, Early Internet (Seattle), Crab

NY quartet Sharkswimmer offers a unique brand of introspective, melodic, post-hardcore-informed punk. Their latest EP, 'Course Correcting’ — their first release on Brooklyn-based label Trash Casual — explores the universality of heartbreak against a backdrop of anthemic, guitar-driven tracks, injected with a healthy amount of pathos and some pumped-up pop hooks.

Early Internet is the moniker of Seattle-based musician Dean Stafford — a solo indie pop/rock project, presented live with a full band, featuring nostalgic, melancholic, and hazy bedroom-pop sounds. After 2021’s debut album, ‘You’re Just In Time To Miss Everything,’ and 2024’s follow-up, ‘Ruminator,’ Early Internet returns for the first time in two years with a new single called “The Battle” — out October 6th with a handful of US tour dates in support.

Crab is a New York City band blending gritty post-punk energy with art-rock edge.
