Clay Handbuilding at Alive Studio

Get your hands dirty and let your mind slow down with a clay hand-building session designed for easy, unhurried making. There’s something incredibly grounding about shaping clay with your hands, getting a little messy, and watching an idea slowly take form 💫Choose a project that speaks to you and explore techniques like pinching, coiling, joining, sculpting, and texturing with guidance from our artists along the way. Whether you make a mug, planter, figurine, trinket dish, sculpture, or something entirely your own, the process is beginner-friendly and completely at your pace 🤸🏻‍♀️Come curious, stressed, creative, or simply in need of a break. Settle in, switch off for a while, and leave with clay under your fingernails, something handmade in your hands, and the lovely feeling of having been completely present for a little while 🫶
