featuring Immy Churchill and George Johnson - Pianist Oscar Lyons, vocalist and singer-songwriter Immy Churchill and tenor saxophonist George Johnson join forces in a trio which blends songs from the folk and jazz traditions with contemporary poetry and improvisation. Following the acclaimed performance of Lyons’ ensemble at the Apex in Bury St Edmunds in January 2026 – which featured both Johnson and Churchill – they come together in this reimagined, more intimate constellation to present an exciting collection of new music. Johnson and Lyons are current students at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and Churchill is a recent alumnus. Expect a night of spontaneous, evocative music.
