It's 2000, the Sydney Olympics are in full swing. It's spring, life is good, you don't have a care in the world, and if you're listening to Triple J, there are two songs on high rotation you can't get out of your head: Lazy Susan's ‘Bobby Fischer’ ("No one ever says Reykjavik in a song") – followed by their second single, ‘Canada’. Fast forward 12 months and the album containing both songs, Long Lost , is on most critics' lists for the best albums of 2001, and Lazy Susan is one of Sydney's best-loved – and best live – bands. Now Lazy Susan are back for a one-off 25th anniversary celebration of Long Lost . For the first time since 2016, the band will take the stage to perform the album – described by The Age as "an Australian indie pop classic" – song for song, along with a collection of other fan faves.
