Picky New Promotions present MEGAPHONEY

With support from DREAMHAUS + LEAVE YOUR BODY BEHIND + GIGI GOLD - Picky New Promotions are proud to bring you a headline show featuring Northampton's own local hero MEGAPHONEY on Fri, Nov 20, at The Lab,Megaphoney is the solo project of Northampton-born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Peter Marchant, whose uplifting, nostalgic songwriting draws deeply from the classic rock and singer-songwriter records that shaped his musical upbringing. Raised on a soundtrack of 1970s icons alongside his older brother and creative collaborator Matt, Marchant developed a love for timeless melodies, rich arrangements and emotionally resonant storytelling that now sit at the heart of Megaphoney's sound.Following the tragic loss of Matt in 2019, Marchant embarked on a deeply personal journey of artistic growth, reconnecting with the musical roots the brothers shared while forging a voice distinctly his own. Performing almost every instrument on his recordings, Megaphoney's music stands as a testament to the enduring power of inspiration, love and human connection, transforming personal loss into songs filled with warmth, hope and heart. On stage, Marchant is a magnetic and larger-than-life performer. Armed with a remarkable four-octave vocal range, theatrical flair and a wardrobe as colourful as his songwriting, he delivers captivating live shows bursting with energy, charisma and genuine emotion. Blending classic influences with a fresh perspective, Megaphoney is rapidly establishing itself as one of the most exciting new voices in independent music."What a talent!"
