We all know you have the cutest fur baby in the world, so why not spend some time creating a watercolor painting of your beloved pal? This is a beginner-friendly class—yes, absolutely beginner-friendly. We at The Growing Studios are teaming up with one of our favorite Dog Friendly spaces at Four Dogs Brewery. The price of the ticket will include all materials to create and a pint of one of the many beers on tap. The best Part is you can bring your puppers with you. Please email a photo of your fur baby to our coordinator at [email protected] so we can print an image for you to work from. Or if you have a printer your can print one off yourself. Ideally, the photo should be a portrait of your pet’s precious face and approximately 8x10. This will help us create the best possible painting within the time we have. This is a fun watercolor project designed to be whimsical and lighthearted. We will explore loose watercolor painting and the techniques that create airy, translucent brushstrokes. All materials are provided, except for the image of your beloved pet. Art classes with The Growing Studios are where people can tap into their creativity, build new skills, and express themselves through a variety of mediums. Whether you’re just starting out or already have experience, these classes let you explore techniques in painting, drawing, sculpture, and reusable mixed media, all with the guidance of talented instructors.
