Doubloonapalooza be a night of pirate-themed punk, metal, Shanties, and rock ‘n’ roll, bringing together some of Australia’s finest nautical miscreants for one massive night piratical tunes. Expect everything from thrashing riffs and filthy punk rock to drunken sea shanties. With a rousing bunch of other things to see and do including a piratical boylesque act, competitive games, and a best dressed competition. Featuring Melbourne's favourite piratical punks PROJECTILE DYSFUNCTION , Adelaide's own masters of maritime mayhem CAPTAIN HELLFIRE & THE WRETCHED BRETHREN , and a crew of pirate metal maniacs known as THE RUM RUNNERS . Joining them are the deep, roaring, fuzz-drenched sounds of VESSEL , as well as BURN IN HELL bringing their swamp music for the stranded and abandoned, and MYSTERY DAUGHTER , delivering sounds that slipped through the keyhole of your dreams. Rounding out the chaos is MELBOURNE SEA SHANTY SOCIETY delivering booming harmonies, rousing call-and-response choruses, and the infectious energy of the old world at full sail!
