3rd Annual Review Workshop (ARW) of the ACCEPT Program The NSF NRT ACCEPT (Alabama Collaborative for Contemporary Education in Precision Timing) Annual Review and Workshop is a two-day interdisciplinary research and professional development meeting designed to connect University of Alabama graduate trainees and faculty with leaders from industry and other external organizations working in precision timing, navigation, and related technologies. The 2026 workshop addresses an important need in the precision timing and navigation ecosystem: creating sustained opportunities for researchers and graduate trainees from multiple disciplines to interact with one another and with external research and industry leaders. Precision timing is inherently interdisciplinary, requiring expertise in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, and related fields. The workshop provides a venue for participants to examine emerging challenges from these multiple perspectives and identify opportunities for collaborative research.
