STEMM Youth | Year 9–Age 30 The Saturday and Sunday Summit program is designed for: Year 9–12 students interested in STEMM University and further-education students studying STEMM Early-career STEMM professionals aged 30 and under You don't need to have your future mapped out. The Summit is designed both for young people already pursuing STEMM and those wanting to discover where their interests might lead. STEMM Professionals | Saturday STEMM professionals, academics, researchers, educators and industry representatives are invited to join the Saturday Summit program to share knowledge, build connections and engage with the next generation. Parents Parents are welcome to register for the Saturday Summit if they would like to participate, but attendance is not required. VCCC organisers hold Working with Children Checks and will supervise the youth program. When the formal Saturday Summit finishes, the evening changes pace. The Youth Un-conference Dinner is a relaxed social evening created for the next generation — a chance to meet other young people, continue conversations from the day, make new connections and help shape the topics that get discussed. There are no formal presentations and no set conference agenda. Expect dinner, conversation, a fun activity and plenty of opportunity to connect. And unlike the daytime STEMM program, you don't need to have a STEMM background to attend the Dinner. It's open to VCCC Mladi / next-generation young people from Year 9 to age 30, including those who are not attending the daytime Summit. Travel Scholarships Available for Youth Eligible youth participants travelling from outside Victoria can apply for a travel scholarship of up to $400 to assist with flights and accommodation.
