In this hands-on workshop, you will create your own pair of high-quality chopsticks while experiencing the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship. Feel the culture of monozukuri (ものづくり – the art of making things) as you work with carefully selected wood materials. At Ginza Natsuno, we showcase over 3,000 varieties of chopsticks crafted by artisans from across Japan. As a specialty store, we offer a wide selection of authentic, handmade traditional crafts, each reflecting the skill and heritage of Japanese craftsmanship. In a calm and refined setting, you will learn fundamental techniques while appreciating the natural fragrance and grain of Japanese wood. From shaping to finishing, you will craft your own unique pair of chopsticks that combine both practicality and artistry.
