By Together We Make - Join artist Natalia Podpora for a two-hour summer flora & fauna papercutting workshop this August! Learn the art of papercutting in this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop inspired by the flowers and fauna of summer. You'll be guided through the fundamentals of papercutting, from learning how to safely papercut to exploring different papers and simple cutting techniques. Using a selection of templates designed for this workshop, you'll create your own intricate botanical or wildlife-inspired papercut.Throughout the session you'll have the chance to reference examples of contemporary paper cutting, including the artist's own work, for inspiration before bringing your chosen design to life! Working with whites, ivories and soft shades of blue and green, you'll carefully trace your design before cutting it using a range of techniques demonstrated during the workshop.Whether you're looking to try something new, meet like-minded friends or enjoy a relaxed morning of making, this workshop is the perfect way to spend a summery Saturday morning!
