Featuring Adam Parry-Davies - This September Jazz at Trades is excited to welcome a very special guest, pianist Adam Parry-Davies!Adam studied at Julian Joseph Jazz Academy gaining an early grounding in jazz education. He went on to study composition at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, writing award winning work for both big band and orchestra. Recently his focus has turned to the jazz piano trio where he has been expanding his approach, accommodating the virtuosic improvised and compositional language of his favourite jazz musicians. His work is released on Bandcamp, soundcloud and Spotify. Adam will be joined for this gig by a great rhythm section of Tom Rivière (double bass) and George Prentice-Povey (drums). Doors at 7pm, music from 8pmOur two tier pricing system aims to strike a balance between making our event accessible for all, whilst trying to ensure we can pay the musicians a fair wage for their performance.
