We are proud to provide a truly professional experience using The Lariat’s state-of-the-art sound system and stage, anchored by our world-class Midas PRO3 console to ensure high-fidelity audio for every single act. 🎸 Update for Our Local Music Fam! 🎤 We’ve got some exciting updates for the live music scene here at The Lariat! As our local talent pool keeps growing, we are streamlining how we schedule our events to make things smoother for everyone and ensure our artists get the promotion they deserve. 📝 Open Mic Changes Starting this Fall, we are officially moving away from the pre-arranged text sign-ups for our Wednesday night Open Mic. We will be switching back to a physical, in-person sign-up sheet. Just show up, write your name down on the list, and get ready to play! 🍽️ Dinner Show Artist Submissions It has been such a joy building the dinner show lineup and placing so many of you over these past few months! Because the series has grown so much, we are formalizing the booking process, and Zach is stepping in to personally oversee it. Moving forward, I will be collecting the emails, but Zach will be reviewing all artist submissions and making the final booking decisions for the dinner slots. ⛰️ Introducing: Elevation Jams We are also thrilled to announce our new late-night sets: Elevation Jams! The entire goal of these sets is to elevate local bands who might not get a lot of ticketed events. This is a low-stress, high-energy way to come jam, interact with the community, and play a great show. I (Steven) will be personally reviewing submissions and approving the lineups for all Elevation Jams. 📬 How to Submit (For Both Events): To be considered for either a Dinner Show (approved by Zach) or an Elevation Jam (approved by Steven), please email your submission to [email protected] Because we want to properly promote your sets, your email must include the following in its entirety to be considered: A brief band/artist bio Promo pictures and videos Links to your social media pages At least 3 songs (audio files, YouTube, or Spotify links) A list of venues/places you have previously played 🗓️ Booking Timeline: Submissions: Must be sent at least 30 days in advance of when you hope to play. Bookings: All approved sets will be finalized and booked a minimum of 14 days in advance so we have time to get the word out! We are stoked to keep building up this music community with you all.
