*PLEASE NOTE - Unlike many of our other classes, tickets for Knife Skills are sold individually. Meaning you'll select 1 ticket ($100) per person.A perfect class for both beginners and experienced home cooks looking to build confidence and sharpen their knife skills! Through hands-on practice, you’ll learn how to work with a variety of vegetables while mastering essential cutting techniques. You’ll put your skills to use preparing soupe au pistou (vegetable soup with pesto), while also learning how to choose, care for, store, and safely use the knives in your kitchen.You'll learn:How to properly hold and handle knivesThe knives you need in your kitchen and how to choose themEssential cutting techniques and when to use each skillSlicing, dicing, mincing, and chopping with celery, onion, tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapeños, garlic, parsley and carrotsKnife care, storage and safetyWhat’s included?*PLEASE NOTE - Tickets for Knife Skills are sold individually. You'll select 1 ticket ($105) per person.Each person will practice knife work alone, however you’ll share a station with another guest to make the soup. If you buy 2 tickets, you’ll be working with the other person in your party. If you buy 1 ticket, or an uneven number of tickets, someone in your party will be paired up with another guest to make the soup.Hands-on instruction from professional chefs2 drinks per person from our bar -- we offer a rotating selection of wines from small producers, local craft beer and seasonal cocktails. Additional drinks will be available for purchase.A booklet of recipes from classAdditional FAQDo we cook in this class? Yes! We'll be chopping up various raw ingredients like peppers and onions that we'll use in a vegetable soup.What do I need to bring? Not much! We'll provide the ingredients and knives for you to use in classIs it fun? Yes. It's one of our most popular classes and a great place to start if you're looking to improve your skills!Can I come alone? Absolutely! A lot of our guests in this class come by themselves.
