Psyched! Radio San Francisco and Psyched! Fest bring together four Bay Area underground acts at Psyched! Studios on October 17.

Oakland’s Bat Noise is the haunted experimental duo of Roxy Monoxide and LuLu Gammaray, creating a theatrical collision of industrial, goth, deathrock, free improvisation and noise with live theremin, saxophone, trombone, percussion and synths—no backing tracks. Bat Noise

Mictlan Tsar is an admonition, a protection spell, and a beckoning to act in late stage hell scape. Noise, textured tape loops, and layered bass give way to rhythms which draw from industrial, techno, cumbia, perreo, and Beyond.

Xtra.dae and fin des terres. Oakland-based Xtra.dae is the experimental performance project of Daeun Maroon Hwang, using sound and performance to explore Korean mythology, folklore, diaspora and imagined pre-colonial origin stories. Diamond Wave
