Chelsea Hotel is back for its second season in Milan's most iconic HiFi venue: MOGO. Milan underground mainstay Andrea Ratti invites a musical guest once a month to play all the music that they usually don't play in clubs. The tracks that lay forgotten and need a newfound dignity. In October, Chelsea Hotel's guest will be Aleklose, a real IYKYK of Milan's techno scene. ALEKLOSE Growing up on the outskirts of Milan, he developed a strong passion for electronic music from a young age. Exploring the city and drawn to the world of graffiti and Hip Hop culture, he took his first steps as a DJ in 2004. He was influenced by the early Detroit techno school and Berlin dub techno, as well as the Chicago house scene. His sets share a constant pursuit of groove, flow, reduction, and repetition, following the desire to surrender completely to the music. His musical knowledge doesn't stop at techno — his versatility as a vinyl collector and DJ has led him to rediscover those house sounds typical of the '90s, highly rhythmic, where the line between techno and house becomes very thin.
