Heritage Conversations: Helen Hewitt

A Conversation with Helen Hewitt

What made Fremantle a magnet for artists? And how did its creative identity evolve from the 1970s to today?

Join Waterfront resident Helen Hewitt for a lively conversation exploring the people, places and policies that shaped Fremantle’s art scene, with works from The Heritage Collective’s collection providing the starting point. From heritage buildings and artist collectives to public art, the Percent for Art scheme and grassroots initiatives, Helen will share stories and insights drawn from decades in arts and cultural development — including her experience with both Fremantle and the City of Perth.
