RASA presents Daydream Nation & BASSWERK
On the Floor, Daydream Nation returns with Ginette Chittick leading a loud, nostalgic trip through 90s and 2000s indie rock, Britpop, punk spirit and anthemic guitar-driven energy. Kim of Teenage Riot opens the night, setting the tone perfectly. Leave your usual dancing shoes at home: This one calls for shoes you can actually jump in.
In the Hall, BASSWERK makes its debut at RASA. Since 2023, this series has become the city’s main home for footwork and juke culture, rooted in the raw competitive dance battles of Chicago. Alias Ten, B10N, and sound artist el professionel will be supplying sharp, syncopated grooves, ghetto tech, broken beat and textured footwork all night: a proper space for both beginners and seasoned dancers to learn, jam and battle.
