Akhil & Friends

Akhil & String Quartet brings a groundbreaking fusion of Neo-classical and instrumental music to the stage, blending rich piano melodies with intimate string arrangements. Influenced by Frédéric Chopin, Ludovico Einaudi, and Chilly Gonzales, Meerut-born and Delhi-based composer-pianist Akhil crafts an evocative soundscape that is reshaping India’s instrumental music scene. Fresh off a acclaimed European tour with stops in Paris and Berlin, and recognized by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting at WAVES and IFFM Melbourne, his performances deliver a deeply immersive, world-class musical journey.

Joined by virtuosos Ria Singh on Violin, Sayan Sinha on Violin, Pocleo on Cello, and Wilson on Cello, the ensemble performs sweeping compositions from Akhil’s upcoming album, Songs That I Play For My Friends. Together, they transform classical discipline into a soul-stirring, introspective experience that captivates audiences globally.
