1987年的哥倫比亞麥德林郊區，當地居民發現奇異天光從天而降。記者來到現場轉播此神秘新聞，突然，少年搶走了新聞攝影機，畫面搖晃、不時曝光；持攝影機的男孩們開始記錄下他們的日常。瘋狂派對、神秘探險、幫派暴力、接近死亡的無數瞬間⋯⋯隨著他們的視角，一切似乎遁入意識流，又像來到另一個維度世界，越發逼近那奇異天光的真相。
由《奇異小子》獨立名導哈蒙尼．科林監製，攝影師Stillz首執導演筒，以低畫質Betacam攝影機、主觀視角的手持鏡頭，配以Arca魔幻如夢的電子樂，穿梭在哥倫比亞街頭，呢喃道出特寫臉龐男孩的訪談：夢是什麼？何謂希望？街頭上暴力蔓延、大火燃燒、暗巷與廢墟沒有盡頭，音樂與鏡頭的語言打造出這個時空，完美呈現男孩們迷茫的生存狀態，更直指貧富差距與青年發展的社會結構問題。
Barrio Triste is set in Medellin, 1987, as a group of teen outcasts steals a news camera to document every detail of their dangerous lives. The first feature from acclaimed photographer and Bad Bunny music video director Stillz redefines the found footage genre as a haunting, poignant coming-of-age story with a disturbing twist. Set to an awe-inspiring score by Arca and produced by Harmony Korine's collective EDGLRD, the film taps into the anxieties of a youth culture from the margins of history yearning to be understood.

哥倫比亞裔美國攝影師與導演。拍攝多部音樂錄影帶，長期與壞痞兔（Bad Bunny）合作，曾入圍葛萊美獎最佳音樂電影，創立影像製作公司「WeOwnTheCity」，作品擅融合拉丁文化與現代迷幻元素。2025年完成首部劇情長片《奇異街區》。
Stillz, the pseudonym of Matías VÁSQUEZ, is a Colombian-American photographer, filmmaker, creative director, and founder of WeOwnTheCity. Renowned for collaborations with Bad Bunny, Rosalía, and Rauw Alejandro, his debut feature Barrio Triste (2025) was produced by Harmony Korine's EDGLRD studio.
