The Commoners

The Commoners are a five-piece roots rock powerhouse from Toronto, Canada — fusing high-energy riffs, soulful vocals and rich harmonies into a Southern-style rock sound with a powerful modern edge. They've spent a decade building a devoted following across Canada, Europe and the UK, headlining sold-out club tours, earning airplay on Planet Rock and BBC Radio, and topping festival bills including Call of the Wild and Steelhouse Festival in Wales.

One of Canada's finest roots rock bands.

The Commoners bring their Runnin' Blind UK Tour 2026 to The Centre, Birchington — five pieces of high-energy, Southern-flavoured rock from Toronto, with the kind of riffs, harmonies and stage presence that have earned them headline slots at Call of the Wild and Steelhouse Festival and support tours with Samantha Fish and Jesse Dayton.

Special guest on the night is JUNO-nominated blues-rock artist Spencer Mackenzie Blues — one of the most compelling live performers on the international blues circuit right now.
