Inversions: An Evening of Improvised Music and Movement

Ladina is a dancer and maker currently in her final semester at the University of Michigan, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology. Her practice includes interdisciplinary performance projects, screendance, cross cultural movement research, and community engagement. Elke is a performer, dancer, and teacher who specialises in partnering. She is the founder of Akzeptanz movement, a school and teaching practice that combines contemporary partnering, group dynamics, contact and physical theatre in a way that allows a group of dancers to effectively create an instant improvised composition, using only their body and movement. Currently she is pursuing her MFA in Dance at University of Michigan. KTCHN (pronounced like the room in your house) is a pianist, vocalist, visual artist and educator. KTCHN’s genre bending style comes from their eclectic music taste and playful personality. As a composer and producer KTCHN weaves themes of nature, connection, and hope.
