Join ORUMA for Multicultural Connections for Wellbeing – “A Little Connection Goes a Long Way”, a special community event celebrating Mental Health Month 2026. Held on Saturday, 24 October 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at St Mary’s School Hall, Dubbo, the evening will bring together families, young people, seniors and people from diverse cultural backgrounds to celebrate the power of connection, belonging and community wellbeing. Expect a warm, welcoming and culturally inclusive evening featuring: Cultural performances and community activities Family and children’s activities Community games and opportunities to meet new people Stories and conversations around connection, belonging and wellbeing A shared meal and social networking Information and resources about local mental health and wellbeing support services This is not a clinical mental health event. It is a relaxed community gathering designed to make conversations about wellbeing easier, reduce isolation and strengthen relationships across our multicultural community. Whether you come with family, friends or on your own, everyone is encouraged to take part, connect and enjoy the evening. Because sometimes, a little connection really does go a long way.
