Local author, and filmmaker, David Creighton is debuting a new live game show! “You’re History!” is a smart, competitive, comedy-heavy, 60-minute, history-themed, live game show. Not surprisingly, “You’re History” is about history. To win, contestants need to know when things happened. Questions span human history, mostly the last two-thousand years. There will be a huge range of topics: from Albert Einstein to Abraham Lincoln, from Picasso to Banksy, and from Beowulf to The Wrath of Khan. Questions are multiple choice, and every player answers every question. Winners get prizes. The losers? One by one they hear the dreaded phrase: I'm sorry, you're history! The live show will feature contestants recruited from the general public of Peterborough playing in front of a live audience! Creighton himself is a short filmmaker, writer, critic, comic, and more. “You're History!” began as a small chatroom game and has evolved into a new game show actively seeking a broadcast contract. Also on the team are teacher John Barclay, and renowned role-playing game writer and designer Malcolm Shepard.
