San Francisco Halloween Pub Crawl: Crawloween

Four days make up the 2026 Crawloween series, but Saturday, October 31 is the main event. Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, creating the right setting for San Francisco’s largest Halloween pub crawl to go bigger than ever. From 2PM to 10PM, more than 20,000 people are expected to visit over 50 participating bars for a full day of drink specials, costumes, contests, DJs, party favors and neighborhood-hopping. Discounted drink specials will be available at participating bars, and pub crawl guests receive free entry at included locations. The route also features food stops, dance venues and themed bars, making it easier to change the pace throughout the eight-hour event. The free Pub Crawl Party Bus helps participants travel between featured neighborhoods. It is especially useful for groups that want to experience both the Polk Street and Marina portions of the event. Guests can leave the car at home, use public transportation or a rideshare service to reach check-in, then use the event shuttle where available along the crawl route. The Costume Contest will bring some of the day’s biggest reactions as individuals and groups show off their Halloween ideas. The Find the Gnome Contest gives participants a second competition to follow, while party favors and entertainment at participating venues keep the day moving. The result is a flexible Halloween event that can be a casual afternoon with friends, a large group celebration or the start of a full Halloween night in San Francisco. Crawloween enters 2026 after a historic year. More than 25,000 participants joined the 2025 event, helping it break the world record for the World’s Largest Pub Crawl. This year’s October 31 celebration will once again serve as the biggest day of the series, with additional Crawloween events taking place on October 24, October 30 and November 1.
