In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a transvestite scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O'Brien). These activities vary from screening to screening, but usually consist of dressing up in costume, singing along to the songs, using props in time with lines from the film, dancing the 'Time Warp' when the song plays, and shouting call-backs (scripted or sometimes improvised replies to lines in the film).  Our theatre has banned certain unsafe props, as well as some that are difficult to clean up or would cause damage to our historical venue. You can read our rules to find out what props/items are NOT permitted. Traditional call-backs can contain crude or sexual language. While there is no single official script for call-backs, you can view an example of one here (Content Warning: Contains crude and graphic language).
