Jackie Morris: The Art of The Book of Birds Jackie Morris’s gorgeous, nature-inspired artwork has captured the hearts of hundreds of thousands of readers of all ages, and is held by multiple public art collections. She is also a great lover of birds, and this love is palpable on every page of The Book of Birds, an extraordinary new collaboration by Morris and author Robert Macfarlane. A re-imagining of the classic nature field guide, The Book of Birds shows readers not only how to identify birds, but how to identify with the forty-nine declining or endangered species featured—so that we might be moved to save them from the devastating loss of bird species worldwide.
