- Outlaw Soul & Western Rock n’ Roll! Californian Savannah Gardner and her band of Recovering Good Girls bend the country music genre to their mighty will, blending soul, blues and gypsy jazz into a sound that is both unique and deeply rooted in tradition. Savannah is described as a "show-woman who connects deeply with her audiences" and an "electrifying live performer with one of the most distinctive voices around" - Country Lowdown. She has played coveted festivals like Glastonbury, The Long Road Fest, Black Deer, Red Rooster and was nominated for the UK’s Americana Live Act of the Year Award in 2025. SG & The Recovering Good Girls continue to tour the UK and Europe, winning over crowds of all ages with their dynamic & theatrical show - pulling at heartstrings one moment, and leading a full blown dance party the next. The core three, Savannah Gardner on vocals & guitar, Riley Hare on bass and Carmen Ruiz Vicente on drums will be joined at The Water Rats by their long-time collaborators, Duncan Menzies on Fiddle & Holly Carter on Pedal Steel/Electric Guitar. Listen to Savannah’s Debut Album Recovering Good Girl produced by Dale Davis, former musical director for Amy Winehouse. “The voice is her ace. A sophisticated and mellifluous set of pipes that happily switch between Patsy Cline or Esther Phillips with personality.” -Country Music People Magazine. “If you’re not already riding shotgun on the Savannah Gardner train, it’s time to saddle up… she’s blazing a trail through the Americana scene like a tumbleweed on a mission” - Rock the Joint Magazine
