Curator, speaker and researcher Emma Roodhouse takes us behind the scenes of Constable 250, sharing the research process for how she wrote Constable 250: A Cast of Characters, how to curate three exhibitions, collaborate on a two-day conference and help move move world-famous paintings – all in this special anniversary year. Emma will also explore the planning and curation behind the exhibitions, offering an insider's perspective on the team it takes to create a major programme celebrating one of Suffolk's most famous artists. Emma has curated numerous exhibitions for Colchester and Ipswich Museums, including Landscape Rebels: Turner, Constable and Monet (2022), Creating Constable (2021) and Made in Suffolk: Ed Sheeran (2019).
