DUB CLUB: Simon Scott (EXODUS / SUBDUB / OUTLOOK) & Hometown Sound

DUB CLUB welcomes a genuine legend of UK sound system and underground music: SIMON SCOTT (EXODUS / SUBDUB / OUTLOOK).

Simon Scott's fignerprints are all over 30+ years of UK bass culture.

As a DJ, promoter, record collector and record shop owner, Simon has been putting in the work since the late ’80s. From Exodus and the beginnings of SUBDUB at Leed's West Indian Centre, through to his own Tribe Records shop, Dancehall Science and of course Outlook and Dimensions, his impact on the UK bass underground is unmistakeable.

Behind the decks Simon demonstrates this history through selection. A serious collector with a deep knowledge of Jamaican music and its many offshoots — roots, dub, rub-a-dub, digital dancehall, steppers, dubstep and beyond.

Simon joins us at The Art School for an extended session powered by Hometown Sound System.

One of the best in the game.

If you know, you know.
