Acclaimed Leeds Jazz collective showcase tracks from the new album 'It's Always About Liberation' - Renowned for its joyful, communal approach to music-making, Ancient Infinity Orchestra creates uplifting, melody-driven music that draws on jazz, folk, classical and devotional traditions. Led by double bassist and composer Ozzy Moysey, the group emerged from the celebrated Leeds jazz scene and has become one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary UK jazz. Their sound world reflects the influence of artists including Alice and John Coltrane, Pharoah Sanders, Don Cherry, Matthew Halsall and Alabaster dePlume, combining spiritual depth with a distinctly contemporary sound..For this special album launch show, Ancient Infinity Orchestra present music from 'It's Always About Liberation' alongside selections from their acclaimed Gondwana catalogue.
