Full Description Meet your guide at the Dolphin Statue, opposite the ice cream counter at The Galley Restaurant, where registration and a brief introduction to the walk take place. From there, enjoy a short stroll to the first stop, where a complimentary hot beverage and sweeping views across False Bay provide the setting for the first stories of Fish Hoek. Then follow the beachfront and shoreline, discovering some of the people, places and events that have shaped this corner of the Cape Peninsula. The walk takes in the beachfront and the iconic coastal path officially known as Jager's Walk, but affectionately called the Cat Walk by locals. Along the way, expect stories, surprising connections and a few things you may never have noticed about Fish Hoek. The experience concludes with a relaxed return to the starting point, with time to enjoy the scenery, ask questions and perhaps see Fish Hoek a little differently. If sea or weather conditions make the Cat Walk unsafe, the walk may be postponed or an alternative route used where appropriate. Guests will be notified as soon as possible. Some sections of the route are slightly elevated above the shoreline. Guests with severe vertigo or a fear of heights should consider whether this walk is suitable.
