Step into the world of natural colours with a two-day immersive introduction to the art and science of natural dyeing and printing on fabric.Hosted at Mimansa Studio Pottery, this hands-on Foundation Course explores how colors can be created from natural sources while introducing you to the processes, materials and techniques behind natural textile dyeing.Over two intensive days, participants will learn the fundamentals of fabric preparation, dye extraction, mordanting and natural color application. Guided by a Textile Consultant and Natural Dyeing Expert, you’ll get to work directly with natural materials and understand the journey from source to color.Set in the earthy and sensory environment of Mimansa Studio Pottery, the experience brings together nature, material, color and craft. By the end of the course, you’ll create your own naturally dyed stole along with a personal collection of color swatches to take home.Come curious, experiment with color and discover a slower, more mindful way of creating with textiles.
