Robert Joseph “Bobby” Bare Jr. is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist blending Americana, alternative country, rock, and indie pop. Son of country legend Bobby Bare Sr., he earned a Grammy nomination at age 8 for the duet “Daddy What If.” He led the ’90s roots-rock band Bare Jr., fronts the Young Criminals' Starvation League, and has released acclaimed solo work.
