Needlefelt Painting Workshop

Spend a cozy autumn afternoon exploring the art of wool painting with fibre artist Cathy Disbrow. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your own 4” x 6” pastoral landscape featuring a flock of sweet sheep grazing beneath rolling hills. Choose your atmosphere: Sunny Pasture: Bright blue skies, warm sunshine, and lush green meadows. Starry Night: A dramatic, swirling cosmic sky dotted with stars and a glowing crescent moon. You’ll discover how to blend, layer, and texture loose wool fibers with barbed felting needles to build depth, shadows, and fine details. Cathy guides you step-by-step from background to foreground, ensuring everyone, from total beginners to seasoned crafters, leaves with a finished, frameable mini-masterpiece ready for holiday gifting or home display. Wool, 2 needles, and a wool felt sheet with project drawing are included in the cost. Foam felting pads are provided for students to use during class and can be purchased separately.
