Scarborough Flavours & Fables - Sat Oct 17th (Blooming Garden Chinese Cuisine)

Inspired by popular tabletop roleplaying games such as Dungeons and Dragons, local theatre artists Kay Wong and Sungwon Cho will lead participants in an exciting adventure hosted by local restaurants where the food and flavours of Scarborough are the stars of the show. No experience with roleplaying games? No problem! This FREE, immersive experience will be an exciting introduction to the world of collective storytelling, non-violent conflict resolution, and the diverse cultures and cuisines that make Scarborough special. All participants will receive: -A 90-minute roleplaying adventure suitable for all experience levels -A free, full meal from the restaurant host -2 Presto tickets to cover travel to and from the restaurant -A set of 6-sided dice and character art to take home Please note that photos and videos will be taken of this event, and by participating you consent to Theatre of the Beat using images and videos of you for any lawful purpose, including publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content. For this reason, all participants must be 18 years of age or older.
