Open Mic Sessions is a new talent development programme for emerging original music creators across Bristol & Gloucestershire, who have experienced barriers to accessing live performance opportunities. This showcase event brings together the artists taking part in the programme, who’ll perform their original music live, some for the first time in Gloucester. Expect a mix of emerging solo artists, singers, rappers and MC’s, with a special guest joining us on the night. Come along, support new talent and hear some of the artists shaping the region’s next generation of new music. About Big Team Big Team is a community dedicated to expanding access and creating options for individuals who face barriers within the live events industry. We achieve this through community engagement, data-driven projects, equity provision, connection-building opportunities, and sustained, long-term engagement. Originally established in 2019 by Team Love Productions as a proactive response to the lack of representation within their own workforce and the festival industry as a whole, Big Team has now grown and developed into its own entity, and is driven by members of the communities that it serves. This event is part of Creative Futures Week , check out other events you can attend in Gloucestershire.
