Created entirely by hand using traditional calligraphy, illumination, gold leaf and centuries-old techniques, The Saint John’s Bible is the first handwritten and illuminated Bible commissioned by a Benedictine monastery in more than 500 years. This special luncheon is a rare opportunity to experience the Heritage Edition in person and hear Susan Keyes share the remarkable story behind its creation. Whether you love calligraphy, books, art, history, illumination or simply beautiful things made by human hands, this is an experience you are unlikely to forget. Your ticket includes lunch and the presentation and viewing of The Saint John’s Bible Heritage Edition. You do not need to be attending the Flourish Festival to join us. Everyone is welcome.
