⛸️ UBC Synchro On-Ice Workshop Come try synchronized skating with other UBC figure skaters! No synchro experience is required. This workshop is open to skaters who are comfortable skating forward and backward and performing basic skills such as crossovers, Mohawks/C-steps, and three-turns. 📅 Date: Sunday, October 11⏰ On-Ice: 10:00–11:00 PMPlease arrive by 9:15 PM for the off-ice portion.📍 Location: Kerrisdale Arena During the workshop, we’ll work on basic skating skills, simple synchro formations and drills, skating while connected with other skaters, and moving to music and counting beats. It’s a fun, non-competitive opportunity to try skating as a team and meet other UBC figure skaters! This workshop is also a first step toward potentially launching a recreational UBC synchronized skating team next year, with the possibility of performing in our year-end ice show.
