2026 Wordstock Sudbury Literary Festival

Wordstock Sudbury Literary Festival is thrilled to announce the dates of our 13th annual festival. Join us on October 16-17 for two days of conversations about writing and reading—and we’ll be joined by remarkable writers from here in the North and from across Canada. This year’s festival is all about how stories help us both face the realities of our world and escape them, too. We're celebrating literature in all its forms, in workshops and readings, community activities, open mic and a silent reading and write-in. Wordstock Sudbury is volunteer-run, and we extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone in the community who has made this year's festival possible. Our Festival Committee and Board of Directors are eager to bring you a festival you’ll want to return to year after year. We can’t wait to welcome you back! Whether you’re a writer, artist, reader or just looking for new conversations, Wordstock Sudbury is for you. Save the date. Subscribe to our newsletter.
