BX After Dark presents: The Wandering Table | Stories After Dark, The Gathering. As darkness falls, Bathurst shifts gears. Following the Opening Night of The Wandering Table: Stories After Dark, night two ‘The Gathering’ awaits – where the pace lifts, the music builds, and the city’s energy comes to life. This is BX After Dark at its most vibrant, inviting guests to step into a night of movement, flavour and discovery. The evening begins at the forecourt of the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery with a Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony and Wiradjuri cultural storytelling, honouring the enduring culture and traditions of the Wiradjuri people. From this powerful opening, a dynamic retelling of Bathurst’s untold stories sets the tone – bringing to life intriguing characters and hidden moments that echo through the night ahead. From there, the experience unfolds across the lively Keppel Street precinct. Guests will journey through the evening in three groups, each beginning at either El Guapo Cantina, DeJorja or The Hub, before roaming between all three venues. At each stop, a new course awaits paired with a premium local beverage and a fresh burst of atmosphere. Expect bold flavours, flowing drinks and venues transformed into distinct BX After Dark experiences, each layered with immersive styling, music and warm, buzzing hospitality. Showcasing regional producers including Winburndale Wines, Rock Forest Vineyard and Renzaglia Wines, the night is a celebration of Bathurst at its most playful.
