JACS Community Day of Learning

Naloxone is a life-saving medication that can reverse an opioid overdose and buy critical time until emergency services arrive. This practical, hands-on training will teach participants how to recognize an opioid overdose, when and when not to administer naloxone, and how to respond safely and effectively in an emergency. Each participant will receive a free intramuscular naloxone kit to take home. The training will also be an opportunity to ask other questions about addiction, treatment, and what more we can do improve community health and safety.
