Did you know that using clothing for just nine months longer can significantly reduce its environmental impact? Give textiles a second life and discover the creative possibilities of upcycling at our Textile Jewelry Workshop.
Participants will transform fabric scraps, old clothing, buttons, beads, and other accessories into unique, wearable jewelry pieces. Along the way, you'll learn how extending the life of textiles helps reduce waste and supports a more circular economy.
Bring your creativity and, if you'd like, a few small items such as beads, buttons, charms, or meaningful keepsakes to incorporate into your design. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or trying something new, you'll leave with a one-of-a-kind piece and practical upcycling skills you can use again and again.
Together, we can rethink the way we consume, wear, and value clothing while keeping textiles in use longer and out of landfill.
Our October workshops are a fun and inspiring way to celebrate Circular Economy Month while learning simple ways to reduce waste through creativity and reuse.
This workshop is free, but registration is required as space is limited.
