James Brute celebrates the release of his debut album Move To The Ghost with a special launch show at SJQ, Dalston. The solo project of former The Brute Chorus frontman James Steel, the album explores memory, displacement and longing through folk, post-blues and alt-Americana, pairing acoustic and saturated electric guitars with vintage drum machines and tape delay. After a standout year supporting Soul Asylum and appearing at Fat Tuesday and Alt Escape, James is joined by acclaimed songwriters Laura Fell and Mungo Parker.
