Every Friday, we bring you Renditions: a live show that packs a punch with DJs alongside to keep you dancing. Think disco and funk to afro beat, jazz, latin, with a fresh take every single week.

For Halloween, we’re getting a little darker with a Spooky Blues Special. East London-based blues and soul band The Wang Dang Doodle will be bringing all the spooky classics and gritty grooves to the stage for a proper Halloween night out.

The Wang Dang Doodle are a five-piece blues and rock band led by vocalist and harmonica player Laurent Mouflier, who has played with Ronnie Wood, Mick Taylor, Stephen Dale Petit, Colin James, The Pretty Things and Ian Siegal. Winners of Best UK Band at the Hard Rock Café competition, they bring energy, feeling and swagger to every performance.

Combining soulful vocals, gritty harmonica, expressive guitars and rolling piano, their sound moves from slow-burning grooves to driving blues rock, mixing familiar favourites with songs that reach beyond the traditional twelve-bar format.

Formed around twelve years ago, The Wang Dang Doodle are returning after a two-and-a-half-year break with an expanded lineup and a refreshed set, bringing their unmistakable spirit back to the stage.
